This family operated a sweets shop named Kida Tenjindo for about 40 years. A cake called
marutabou became very popular with the locals and came to represent Katsuyama. The old
signboard for this shop is kept in Kazantei. Many people feel very nostalgic about the shop. The
family asked for a noren design based on wrapping paper that was used in the shop. They have
three different noren with the same design, but different colors.
