Many inspection teams from other towns outside this prefecture come to study the ways Katsuyama has restored and reinvigorated its historical district. They often wonder how we managed to do it so well. There are many answers to this question, but the simplest one would be to "enjoy every day of your life and to do all the little things you can, while not stressing about things which are not in your power to do." Visitors often say they feel refreshed after spending time here. This is probably due to the town's relaxed atmosphere where time seems to move slowly.
